Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
Frozen Caves by Day, Counsellor Mysteries by Night!
Today was an exciting day packed with action and adventure for our campers at Village Camps Austria. Our Learn to Lead group set off on an unforgettable journey to the Ice Caves, where they explored the largest ice cave system in the world—an experience full of awe and discovery.
Back at camp, the Red boys honed their focus and aim with an archery session, while the Red girls enjoyed the refreshing waters during a Standup Paddleboarding adventure. The Blue group tested their limits with a challenging indoor climbing session, and the Yellows had an active morning mastering fencing techniques and essential survival skills.
Meanwhile, our English language class had a special off-site activity—an exciting trip to a Virtual Reality escape room in Zell am See, followed by a sweet reward: frozen yoghurt in town!
In the afternoon, the Yellow group continued their adventure with a trip to Niedernsill Lake, where they enjoyed swimming, jumping on trampolines, and treating themselves to bubble waffles and ice cream. Campers who stayed behind got competitive in a volleyball tournament, which was followed by a fun and refreshing pool party.
Though the evening brought a bit of rain, the fun didn’t stop! The Yellow campers enjoyed more time on the trampolines indoors, while the rest of the color groups dove into a camp favorite: the Counsellor Hunt—a game full of laughs, teamwork, and mystery. Another day full of new experiences and unforgettable memories here at Village Camps Austria!
