Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria

17th July 2025

A Day of Exploration, Education, and Epic Fun!

Today is Thursday and we organized for our campers a little get away from the camp. Our campers set out on a breathtaking adventure to the Krimml Waterfalls, Europe’s highest waterfalls nestled in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Surrounded by lush alpine scenery, the group hiked along the well-maintained trail, enjoyed the refreshing spray of the falls, and learned fascinating facts about the power and beauty of this natural wonder.

Meanwhile, language group visited the National Park Worlds Museum in Mittersill. This modern and interactive museum gave campers a deeper look into the unique alpine world of the Hohe Tauern region. Through 360° cinemas, glacier simulations, and wildlife exhibits, they explored the hidden sides of the mountains—learning about marmots, eagles, and the fragile beauty of high alpine ecosystems. A fun, educational experience that brought nature to life indoors!

For the evening, we organized a variety of outdoor activities including frisbee, low ropes, beach soccer, and volleyball. Campers also had the chance to relax and enjoy time by the pool.

Later on, the fun continued with our legendary foam party! Everyone had an amazing time dancing to their favorite tracks and playing in the foam—the energy was unforgettable!
