Summer Camp VDC Singapore
You better start believing in ghost stories Miss Turner, you're in one! - Captain Barbossa
Hello fellow VC adventurers and treasure hunters,
Today was another amazing day at Village Camps Action and Adventure week. The mini 1 (4/5 yr olds) went to the Forest Adventure to do the high ropes course. For many campers it was a step out of their comfort zones, but they made it through the course. It was a great growing experience for them and we are proud of all of them for attempting the course. The mini 2 (6/7 yr olds) will be going there tomorrow.
The senior campers went to the Jerong Water Park and had a blast on the water slides there.
Tomorrow the intermediate campers will be going on an Animal Safari Adventure when they head out to the SINGAPORE ZOO. This will be a great opportunity for them to see wild life from all over the world.
After lunch there was a huge water fight with balloons between the counselors and intermediate campers. Normal activities still happened with dance, swimming, gymnastics, sports and arts and crafts. But it was the excursions that took the headlines, as they were a great example of the individual growth that happens when we go on adventures that are out of our comfort zones. CAMP = FUN + GROWTH!
Camper quote of the day: I am so scared, so there something wrong with me! The ropes course was awesome can I DO IT AGAIN?
