Summer Camp VDC Singapore

2nd July 2013

Music and More.....

With the sun finally shining, the 9 and 10 year olds made it out onto the all-weather football pitch this morning. Cameron, Alisha and Ambry ran a football skills clinic which was high on energy and focused upon individual skill development. Meanwhile, the mini campers were singing group and solo songs with Jono on the guitar.

Kyra spent the early part of the morning covering every surface with newspaper in preparation for a crazy painting session in Arts and Crafts. Fortunately, we were able to cover the kids in aprons as well, to protect their clothes. A couple of heavy downpours later in the day and one lightening warning ensured the afternoon was spent largely indoors, but the kids seemed to love the sports sessions run by Cameron and Yoges and their team of counsellors.

All in all, another action packed day for the campers and plenty to look forward to tomorrow. Especially for the oldest campers who will be heading off to a Ropes Course in the morning for their first excursion of the summer...photos to follow tomorrow!
