Summer Camp VDC Geneva
What a beautiful day!!!
What a beautiful Thursday at Village Day Camps, Geneva! Despite the rain warning we managed to have sun ALL DAY! We had lots fun activities both on and off campus today! Our lucky groups of 8 year olds and 6 year olds got to explore the grounds of Signal De Bougy where they got to play Mini Golf, visit the zoo and play on the jungle gyms. We had our 9s and SA1s at the Nyon Pool today. The water was a bit cold at first, but after playing some games they warmed right up! Many of our 7s and seniors were super excited to get strikes and spares during bowling today! We hear someone even got a ‘turkey’ – way to go 7s!!! On campus today, we had our senior groups tie-dying their VC shirts to correspond with their Camper’s Cup Team competition. We also had a group of seniors making ‘M&M Crunch Apple Salad’ in ‘Fantastic Foods’ today –how yummy! Our dance, drama and music specialists all began working with the campers on the ‘Village Camps Got Talent’ Special Day performance – We can’t wait to see it! And last but not least our 4 and 5 year olds got ‘funky’ with our Funky Fitness Specialist Katie! They also got to do some climbing, balancing and rolls with our professional gymnast Irina!
Quel joli jeudi ici à Village Day Camps! Nous avons aimé le soleil toute la journée ! Nous avons eu beaucoup d’activités ici et partout ! Nos groupes de 8s et 6s sont allés à Signal de Bougy, ou ils ont joué au mini-golf, ont visité le zoo, et joué les jeux. Nos 9s et SA1s sont allés à la piscine aujourd’hui aussi. L’eau était un peu froide, mais après quelques minutes, il était supère ! Nos 7s et les seniors ont joué au bowling et a gagné quelques strikes ! Bien joué !!Sur le campus aujourd’hui, nos seniors ont fait le tie-dye pour leurs équipes de Campers’ Cup ! Aussi, ils ont fait une salade des pommes avec des M&Ms; dans la nourriture fantastique ! Nos spécialistes de danse, le théâtre et la musique se préparent pour la journée spéciale—notre thème est « Village Camps Got Talent ! » Notre mini camp était funky dans notre cours de Funky Fitness avec notre spécialiste, Katie ! Ils ont fait l’escalade, l’équilibre, et les roulades avec notre spécialiste de la gymnastique, Irina, aussi !
