Summer Camp VDC Geneva
14th August 2013
Excursions and fun in the Sun!
We had a great time at Village Day Camp today both on and off campus. Today it was the turn of the 5s to go off campus all day and have a swim in the
morning at the indoor pool then go and see the animals at the zoo. The 7s went to the pool in the morning and the 8s went in the afternoon and still had
plenty of fun splashing about despite the breeze. The two SA groups went to Trelex with SC1 in the morning then went bowling in the afternoon while SB1
practiced their rowing skills by going kayaking.
On campus we had just as much fun. The 4s had a great time all day doing Arts & Crafts and Jungle Gym in the morning and playing on the percussion
instruments in Music in the afternoon, which as you can see they had a lot of fun doing. The other groups learned their words for Friday. There were some
impressive work done on the rings in Gymnastics and some funny dances by the 6s with Maham. In Arts & Crafts, the finishing touches were put to their
picture frames with a special part for all the campers in the group to sign and leave a message; a nice touch from their time together these last two
weeks. Angela had some guessing and improving games for them in Drama which they enjoyed doing.
We're looking forward to our last full day together before special day because it will be even more fun in the sun, just like today. See you tomorrow
