Summer Camp VDC Geneva

30th July 2013

The Sun returns!

The Sun came back out today and whilst it was warm there was a very refreshing cool breeze blowing through the camp.

The 5s and 6s both were off campus all day, stopping at the pool for a little lesson from our swim specialists Ana and Angela before swinging by the zoo in the afternoon to see what animals they could spot - a few bunnies were sighted, along with a pack of wolves and some snakes, all separate from each other obviously!

On campus, we had to be aware of the boomerangs flying around the top field. The Seniors had a go at making and designing their own and then testing them out which everyone agreed was a lot of fun. Dance lessons turned into a yoga and workout session in the morning to help the campers limber up and prepare for not just their dance but the day ahead.

On the sports field they played batting games and capture the flag, in gym Abbey helped them with their balancing exercises, the 7s went off to the jungle gym for an hour to swing about like monkeys and in the afternoon SA1 went bowling and the 8s, 9s and SB1 just chilled out by the pool.

We have another cooler day coming up tomorrow then on Thursday and Friday we are back to very hot temperatures.

The fun continues whilst we gear up towards Special Day!
