Summer Camp VDC Geneva
The Magical World of Disney!
And a magical day it was!! The campers had a mission for the day - to help the Disney characters find the magic door that would take them back to their world because a magical storm had blown them into our world. There was Snowhite and her dwarves, Mary Poppins with her mysterious bag, Mowgli and his friends, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Mr. Potato head, the Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell...and Captain Hook. But Captain Hook was rather sneaky and had taken the magic door, so the Disney characters couldn't get back to their world! What were they to do? With all the help from the campers and the wisdom of Mother Tree, the Disney characters found the door...and were all transported back into the Magical World of Disney, but they took some guests with them - all of the campers! Will the campers be able to get back?
The day continued with some exciting games on the field for the 4s to 8s. There were pi??atas to smash, face painting, a sponge and water game, a relay race game involving rope and hula-hoops and our infamous multi-coloured parachute was out putting smiles on all of the campers' faces as they watched balls fly up and down! Meanwhile, the 9s and all the seniors went off to the pool and splashed around. After all the fun and games, it was time for our delicious lunch - burgers, chips and salad! YUM!!
Once all their bellies were filled, they went to practice their parts for the Performance. And then...the Carnival began!! Games galore! Prizes were won as the campers rocked the games!
Finally, it was the time we had all been waiting for...the Performance to show the parents what the campers have been doing for the past two weeks. And what a performance it was - dancing, singing and acting!
