Summer Camp VDC Geneva
Sunshine and another day at camp!
The sun is shining and a once in a lifetime event is happening at London! The campers were sharing the Olympic spirit and were all ready for yet another fun day at camp. Some groups flew from the nest and went on some excursions today. The 4s went to the indoor pool at Bassins and then saw the animals at the zoo. The 6s went into Geneva and saw some weird and wonderful plants at the botanical gardens and afterwards went to the pool for a quick cool down. The 7s had fun trying to find the fairies in Trelex forest today, building some huts in case the fairies needed them. The 8s and 9s had an amazing time at the pool today, jumping and splashing about, some of them even tried some synchronized swimming!
SA1 tried to relax by the pool, but the thought of relaxing didn't really suit them, deciding instead to splash their counsellors with very cold water. SA2 went to roll some balls at pins at the bowling alley. There were prizes given for strikes and the kids loved it! At the end they were all absolutely exhausted. The 5s had a camp day today and enjoyed every minute of it. Everyone had a wonderful day today, enjoying even the smallest things. We are all looking forward to another great day tomorrow!
