Summer Camp VDC Geneva
Welcome Campers!
All campers arrived bright and early today, for the beginning of session 2. What a fabulous day for camp! We kicked off with the camp meeting and the specialist staff had a brilliant game of musical chairs to share with the kids. Afterwards we all went to our separate activities. Some doing music and some dancing and some playing sports. It's nice and warm out, so the kids had a brilliant time messing around in the sun. Lunch time soon came and went, with a lovely meal of tortellini. The 4s really enjoyed it, getting it all over their faces.
In the afternoon, it warmed up a little bit, so we made sure they drunk loads of water and covered themselves with sun cream. The 8s then went on a little trip down the road to the jungle gym, where they had bucket loads of fun in the sun. For snack we had some local pain au sucre and some fresh apples, as well as some juice. At the end of the day, SB1 and SC1 had a mini Olympics on the Luna field. They were racing about before the word go. Another wonderful start to the second session! Get some rest for the sunny week ahead.
