Summer Camp VDC Geneva
A hot, hot, hot day at Village Day Camps!
Campers have been putting on sunscreen all day and making sure they get lots and lots of water. It's HOT!! Many campers left camp in the morning and afternoon to go on field trips, including, bowling, Signal de Bougy, indoor and outdoor pool and the zoo. They all came back smiling!
In Arts and Crafts, SA1 made gingerbread houses out of biscuits, sweets and icing. They worked as a team to create four spectacular houses. They planned how they would build them and then worked together to make them. What a great time they had! In Mini Arts and Crafts, the 6s made great fish hats. In Drama, groups used their animal masks they made in Arts and Crafts and played the 'What am I?' game. The local jungle gym was visited by the 8s and some of the seniors made nifty and colourful boomerangs.
Overall, another fabulous day at camp!
