Another Sunny Day at Village Camps
Welcome to all the new campers who joined us this week! As predicted by the weather report, we enjoyed a beautifully sunny day both at camp and on our field trips. Signal de Bougy was the destination of our 8s who played a quick round of mini-golf and our SB1s who tried the high ropes course in the forest. The 8s also went bowling and won many prizes for their participation and skill. The 5s visited the Botanical Gardens, where they saw exotic plants and animals. Nyon pool was enjoyed by the 9s and Seniors in the morning and afternoon.
At camp, groups have already started practicing for the Special Day performance for the parents. There was a lot of enthusiasm and some great music being heard from the dance room. In Arts and Crafts all groups started decorating frames to put their group photos in. Luna Field enjoyed a substitute, but very experienced, specialist for the day. They had loads of fun playing rats and rabbits and he worked them hard, but he is going home rather more exhausted than the campers!
