Day trip to Lisbon!
Today, the whole camp headed to Lisbon for an exciting day trip!
We started with a bit of sightseeing, visiting iconic spots like the Tower of Belém and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos. At each stop, our counsellor Sara shared a short and sweet history lesson about the landmark.
Next, we made our way to the beautiful Praça do Comércio, where campers took part in a scavenger hunt to help them explore and discover more about the city. Of course, no trip to Lisbon would be complete without stopping for a Pastel de Nata.
In the afternoon, campers enjoyed some free time for shopping, picking up souvenirs and snacks. Then, we returned to Santa Cruz. After this very exhausting day, the programme was a relaxed one: preparing for tomorrows international night.
