Summer Camp Santa Cruz, Portugal
Lisboa here we come!
Today was the big excursion day! This morning the whole camp took the bus to Lisbon to go explore the city and learn some of countrys historical significance. We took several stops around downtown Lisbon. The campers had to figure out information about historical figures such as kings and writers.
They got to know the city with help from our great counsellor/tour guide Serafim whom is about to obtain his PhD in history. The campers also got to try the famous portuguese pastry Pastel de nata! And to finish the day off, the campers got to go shopping at a mall called Amoreiras!
After a long day in the city the we got back to camp to have a well deserved chill movie night watching Shrek with snacks!
