Summer Camp Santa Cruz, Portugal

Primeiro dia

Good morning!

Monday is here and it's time for our first official camp here in Santa Cruz, Portugal. Delicious breakfast was served and our campers were filled with energy for their morning activities.

Surfers were headed to the beach where they surfed their first gnarly Atlantic ocean waves here on Praia de Santa Cruz. Our adventure campers were divided into three groups. First group had the opportunity to learn moves and tricks on long board on a long board session with our teacher Valeria. Second group went for a Beach cliff discovery where they hiked on the beautiful cliffs that surround this town and get to know secret cliff paths that lead to the best view points. Third group joined surfers and did surf intro where they got the opportunity to try out some surfing as well.

After a morning full of activities campers returned back to Pousada where they were gathered for a tasty lunch. It was time for us to have some free time and charge the batteries because it was time for afternoon filled with team building games and a quick swim test where all of our campers passed easily. Swim test was over just in time for dinner. After a small break from activities we all gathered in the lobby and counsellors announced first evening activity which was mysterious real life Cluedo Santa Cruz edition game.

After a good hour and a half of solving the mysteries that happened here in Pousada, campers finally collected all the clues and found out the secret.

First day went by super fast. Moon was shining upon Santa Cruz and time for saying good night was here.
