Summer Camp Santa Cruz, Portugal
A truly international camp!
Today was a very special day here in Santa Cruz. In the morning all the campers got the special chance to try surfing and so we all gathered at the beach to face some waves between a good warm up and some stretching. All the campers returned from their joined surf activity and even though they were looking forward to some food and rest the team spirit was high.
In the afternoon the campers gathered again to start preparing for the international night where all the campers got to choose which country or region they would like to represent. For some campers that was their own country and culture that they grew up in and for others it was a great chance to do some research and get to know a place that they have never been to before.
In the evening it was then time for the campers to show what they had been working on and so the stage was theirs to perform dances, songs and sketches to represent Vietnam, Finland, Lebanon, England and Belgium. We finished the evening with a delicious international buffet prepared solely by our wonderful campers and so went to bed with our heads full of new impressions and our bellies filled with delicious treats.

- Breakfast: Banana milkshake, sausages, eggs, bread and butter and jam, yoghurt, yoghurt cake, carrot cake
- Lunch: Lasagna, Salad bar, custard dessert
- Dinner: Cous cous with chicken and vegetables, salad bar, fruit salad
