A day full of Action!
Bom dia desde Portugal!
Another action packed day at camp has enriched all of us with a great deal of new experiences and adventures. The surfers hit the waves early as the tide demands this week and the adventure group also started their morning with two exciting activities. The first group went for a bike ride in a beautiful green valley close by with the final destination being a public swimming pool set in between the rolling hills of Portugal. While they got to relax at the water the second group were just about to start their abseiling as the grande finale of their hike up a cliff close to the coast. So it is fair to say that no camper came short of a spectacular view.
After lunch the campers excitement rose as the World Cup final was about to start and while some were banned by the magic of soccer the others got to have a nice time at the pool, testing all our floating objects for their maximum capacity.
Dinner was followed by the talent show that the campers had a full 24 hours to prepare for. The crowd was blown away by some unexpected talents ranging from gelling up a Mohawk in less than 10 seconds to some serious circus skills, body percussion and wonderful singing. The day was completed with a quick jump in the pool and tonight everyone will sleep extra well since a sleep in awaits.

- Breakfast: Banana milkshake, sausages, eggs, bread and butter and jam, yoghurt, yoghurt cake, carrot cake
- Lunch: Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, salad bar, cream of custard
- Dinner: Codfish with fried potatoes, salad bar and a mousse au chocolat
