Discovering Switzerland !
Today our campers split up to discover different landmarks around the canton of Vaud and Lake Geneva!
Our Green and Yellow campers headed off to discover the Cailler Chocolate Factory! They experienced an immersive journey into the history of chocolate and of the Cailler company! At the end of their visit, they had the chance to taste different kinds of delicious chocolate! The campers later drove to Vevey, where they spent the afternoon shopping at the Mall before coming back to camp for a movie night!
The Olympic Museum in Lausanne opened its doors to our Red campers! With thousands of years of history, the Olympic Games, through the museum's exhibitions, teach us about competitiveness, ethos, dedication and leadership! After their visit, the campers had time to shop in one of Europe's most beautiful cities in Lausanne! For a relaxing evening, the Red campers joined the Grellows for a movie night!
Our older campers left for Geneva and the Red Cross Museum this morning! It was a lesson in voluntary work, helping others for no cost, solidarity and selflessness! From the museum the Blues headed to the centre of Geneva and the ''English Gardens'' to hang out and visit the beautiful centre of the city. For their afternoon activity they came closer to Leysin and they played bowling!
It was a day full of fun, and discovery and our campers still excited from their day, couldn't wait more for the pool day tomorrow!
