Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
A day of sunshine
The morning opened with the sun shines rays shining down on us. The reds adventure team journeyed down to The Dell where they learned how to build a fire, with techniques of flint and steel and matchsticks. They also learned about the safety precautions of a fire and the best way to build it in a forest. To finish the activity off, all of them got a shot at starting a fire and toasting some squishy marshmallows over the fire. The Greenies gathered together in the art room, where they experimented with some tie dye. They got to choose their own colours and pattern. they rapped up their with bands and string in all sorts of fun ways. sprayed their colours all over it and left it to marinate in a bag for a few days. to be revealed very soon.
And for this afternoon, a big game was played under the sun in the forest, accompanied by yellows, reds and blues. There were two teams, the orange and the purple, and the aim was to take the opposing flags that were hidden in the forest, and if they got caught, of course they went to prison!!!! It was great fun, we had a great time all together.
see you tomorrow for a new day!
