Mountain Hut Day.

Hello everyone, The morning began with a bitter breeze in the air. After a very cold night the mountain peaks were covered with snow and the Yellows set out on an adventure hike up to Pic Chaussy. They tackled the mountain with enthusiasm and reached the top of the summit for astonishing views. After passing back down and a BBQ dinner they enjoyed roasting some marshmallows over the campfire and sharing stories amongst each other.

While the Reds had a session of climbing at the Quarry. It was a little bit wet and cold but with strong legs the reds tackled on the rock climbing session. learning about the 8 figure knot and the safety rules of climbing. Everyone enjoyed their time and celebrated walking back down to camp.

The day continued with a day of hiking for the Green. To start we had lunch in the mountains with a magnificent view, we ate our sandwiches. We made a walk of 2 hours 30 minutes with wonderful landscapes and cows . It was super fun, we laughed when we saw them and when they did Meuuh!! The grass was a little wet so there was some slides but no injuries. Everyone reached the Chalet safe and happy. It was all wooden with red shutters and with an extraordinary view!!

Then the evening Blue and Reds, did sports after eating hot dogs, they played Football, Basketball and Volleyball. It was too good we could do three different sports. Kids spirits were high and they enjoyed themselves.

Friendships were built today and it was a great start to the second week of the last summer camp session. See you tomorrow for a new day!!
