Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
A Fresh and Enriching Day !
Hey everyone, and welcome for another day in Village Camps Switzerland! Today started with some French classes, which was a fun way to brush up on our language skills. But that's not all; we've got an exciting adventure planned for today!
Our next stop is with the Greenies who played the Jurassic Camp, a thrilling game where we get to hunt for dinosaurs hidden around the camp. We explored the grounds, solved clues, and tried to spot these ancient creatures. It was an adrenaline-pumping experience!
And wait, there's more! Our final stop took us on an epic journey to experience a volcano up close. Don't worry; it's all safe and supervised. We witnessed the raw power of nature and learned about volcanic activity.
Outside the clouds have rolled in this morning, as the Blues gathered outside of the quarry, for a rock climbing session with our favorite Ilja. He taught them the important rules of safety, and the 8 Figure knot to tie themselves in safely, what position is best to climb in and to go down safely. Everyone tackled their fears of heights and tried their best at the different climbing routes, some showed off a little with their level of skills and talent, while others gave it their best shot. Even with the sun hiding today, the kids spirits were still high.
This afternoon, with a few rays of sunshine Greenies and the Yellow had a fun afternoon, with the Big Grellow activity. They played lots of games included water games, like Kunken, Drip Drop, Vortex, Sponge Relay, and even a battleship with water balloon !! Back to camps the kids had another refreshing moments with ice cream, and then had a warm shower to enjoy their free time at camp before the dinner.
