A Beautiful Sunny Thursday in Leysin!
This morning, the Reds returned from their Mountain Hut Adventure after waking up amongst the beautiful Swiss Alps surrounded by fresh air and incredible views. The campers enjoyed a delicious breakfast and made their way back to camp to start another day of amazing activities whilst the Blue adventurers set off for their own overnight hike.
The STEM Robotics camp were busy working with sensors and adding movable arms to their robots that can interact with other objects. Elsewhere, Greenies were making their own puppets and puppet theatre to feature at tonight's slumber party and the Performing Arts camp explored character through a movement workshop.
The afternoon was full of fun activities. Yellows got to choose between basketball, beach volleyball, archery and climbing and the Reds headed outside for the Big Red Mash Up, an afternoon of team games that involve quite a lot of water.
In the evening, the Yellows headed to the sports centre for a mix of sports games as the Reds glided to ice skating and dodgeball. The Blue adventure campers finished their day with a much deserved BBQ and campfire at the mountain hut and the remaining Blues at camp got to roast marshmallows at a campfire of their own. The Greenies had a slumber party with a disco ball, a piñata, dancing game and the best puppet show in Leysin.
