Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Wild Wednesday!
Today it was the Greenies turn to wake up to bright blue skies at the La Combe to hike back to camp after a delicious breakfast. The Adventure campers put their survival skills to the test in "Lost" and the football campers worked on their amazing football skills. The Reds headed down to Leysin Village in the morning for a Photo Scavenger hunt. Whilst the blues taking part in Forest Fun. In the afternoon, the half the camp played a massive United Nations game of Capture the Flag in the Suchet Forest where teams representing Nations from all over the world competed to see who is the fastest! Whereas the other half of camp prepared skits and cooked for their chosen Nation. At the end of the afternoon, they reunited as one to get ready for dinner. LTC had an exciting game of Lazerquest to zap the afternoon away. After dinner, all of the colour groups came together for their evening activities. The greens got ready to rumble with some robots in "Green Machines!" whilst half the Yellows went down to the local hall for some Dodgeball and the other half hit the ice for skating. The Reds went down to the Suchet for an epic game of Murder Mystery and the Blues relaxed with popcorn and snacks in the auditorium for a Movie Night.
- Breakfast: French toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit juice.
- Lunch: Hash browns with Beef/Vegetarian Stew and Mixed vegetables. Tortellini bar.
- Dinner: Chicken/vegetarian nuggets, french fries and mixed bean vegetables. Pasta bar. Salad buffet. Apple pie.
