Water! Earth! Fire! Air! - Festival Friday
Today our Greenies started the day off in the Arts and Crafts room making colourful flags for Festival Friday. Language Camp, Performing Arts and Stem Robotics went to their final lessons of week one. Sport campers headed off to football camp this morning whilst the Yellow adventures tackled some Nature Games in the Suchet!
Just before lunch, campers and counsellors split off into their Elements (Earth, Water, Wind and Fire), had their faces painted, changed into their colours and boarded the bus up to Prafandaz view point to enjoy a bbq lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs with nachos!. The elements spent the afternoon competing against each other in fun field based games including chants, relay races and tug-of-war collecting points to prove which element was the strongest.
The competition didn't end there, our counsellors had been secretly working hard to transform the the whole camp into a Carnival filled with fun parlour games and even more opportunities to win points for their teams. Campers spent their afternoon playing awesome games like Strong Man, Karaoke, Oily Pig, Balloon Stomp, Hot Shot and more! After an eventful day, the campers headed to bed while the counsellors tallied up the points to see who won Festival Friday!
- Breakfast: Pancakes with syrup and cereal bar, yoghurt, fruit.
- Lunch: BBQ on the Mountain, Burgers, Hotdogs, Nachos, Juices.
- Dinner: Fish with Potato wedges and mixed vegetables. Pasta with Tomato Sauce, Apple Strudel
