Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Busy Monday at camp.
There were lots happening today at camp. This morning Sports camp went to the sports centre were they were playing basketball and handball. The yellows in adventure camp packed their overnight bags and hiked off into the mountains to stay over night in the mountain hut beside Lac Laison. The reds in adventure camp divided into two groups, one group went mountain biking while the other group went rock climbing on limestone rock. The blues in adventure camp went into the forest to experience some survival skills. Back at camp the STEM group are progressing in their robot projects and french and english classes were continuing their language knowledge. LTC were also planning more of their Event X project. Meanwhile the greens got the opportunity to tie dye their VC t-shirts and then they had a crazy game on mini golf.
This afternoon was also very busy. The greens went down the grass field and played Big Green which involved many water based games and water balloons. The yellows had a hike up to Temeley to taste some homemade ice cream and cheese. While the reds and blues had many sport options to choose from which included climbing, archery, tennis, bouldering and ultimate frisbee. LTC were searching the village to complete their Amazing Leadership Race.
Then this evening the greens took part in Spy Kids were they had to crack the code and rescue the tuck shop manager Lou and find out who stole all the candy. The yellows went to camp fire to roast some marshmallows and banana boats and watch the sunset. While the reds, blues and LTC took part in their very own VC world cup were they got to play for a country as they went through the football qualifiers.

- Lunch: Meatballs with mashed potatoes and vegetables and fruit
- Dinner: Pizza and ice cream and fruit
