Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
First day of camp!!
The first day of camp is here, the sun is shining and this morning everyone woke feeling refreshed and ready to get into the great activities the day had in store.
This morning the adventure campers from the Greens, Yellows, Reds and Blues spent their time playing games designed to put their mind and bodies to the test and had a great chance to get to know their fellow campers in a huge Team Building activity. Back at camp Language camp, STEM Robotics camp and Performing Arts camp went to their first lesson and got to know each other. Tennis Camp went down to clay courts and started perfecting their swing.
In the afternoon the Reds and Blues joined together and spent their their time cooling off with some great games and a huge water fight while the Yellows and Greens headed off to try their hand at a little tennis and to test their climbing skills with some indoor bouldering.
In the evening the Reds and Blues headed to the local college gym for a friendly game of Dodgeball while back at camp our brave Greens and Yellows were busy battling an invasion of weird and wacky robots as they played a game of Terminator. Our campers managed to outsmart and short circuit the robots and save camp before it was too late!
- Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Cereals, Yogurt, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Juices
- Lunch: Pesto Pasta, Chicken Mushroom cream sauce, Rosti potatoes, Salad and Fresh Pineapple & watermelon
- Dinner: Beef Ragu,Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli, Pasta Marinara Sauce, Salad Bar, Fruit & Cheesecake
