Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Adventure Monday!
Today Campers took on the mountain and also played a friendly world cup tournament on the football pitch!
The Yellow Adventure Campers and the Greenies took on a mountain adventure hike to the local ice cream and cheese chalet, a place that offers home made cheese and ice cream, where the cows roam free on the mountain side. Following their hike and after dinner, on the theme of outdoor adventure, they continued with a campfire where they got to toast smores and eat banana boats with a mountain view.
The Red Adventure Campers went climbing at the quarry followed by a Swiss trivia and games afternoon in the Village Camps building. The Blues went Mountain Biking followed by more adventure of a hike in the Leysin mountain side. After dinner the Reds and Blues put on their sports jerseys and played World Cup, a fun mini tournament of full pitched football down at the sports center.

- Lunch: Shepherds Pie, Roasted Pepper Ratatouille, Pasta and Marinara Sauce, Side Salad and Fresh Fruit
- Dinner: Asian Stir Fry Vegetables, Spring Rolls, Rice, Pasta and Marinara Sauce, Side Salad, Portuguese Custard Tarts
