Camp Fires and Animals on the Loose!
Bags are packed and we are all ready to rock n roll! It is another jam packed day at Village Camps, filled with activities in the building and adventure out on the mountain!
This morning the Reds and the Blues Adventure Campers headed off to Pic Chaussy, a local mountain peak in the region for an over night mountain hut hike experience. They took on the challenge and were rewarded with a beautiful 360 degree view of the region and a lake swim in the afternoon, a barbeque of burgers and a cozy nights sleep in the mountain hut. On the same adventure theme, the Greenies and the Yellow Adventure slipped on their hiking shoes and took on a scavenger hunt in the Leysin mountain trails, working as a team to figure out all the clues leading to one place to another, executing tasks along the way.
In the Afternoon the Greenies joined our resident STEM Robotics specialist, to build their very own robots out of Lego and create functions for movement. Yellows and Reds had a huge selection of activities to choose from including badminton, Basketball, Archery, tennis, bouldering, and mini golf. Our LTC programme left camp after lunch to go white water rafting down the rapids.
The Blues and LTC finished their day with a glide on the ice skating rink while back at camp our Greens and Yellows had a very special visit from a local Zookeeper and all the escaped animals. It was up to our campers to work as a team to bring back the animals to the zoo keeper and collect resources to build their teams egg parachute. The Reds hiked up to the quarry for an evening campfire with marsh mellows and banana boats.

- Lunch: Fish Fillets, Fried Rice with Veggies, Veggie Pakoras, Side Salad, Fruit
- Dinner: Meatballs in Cream Sauce, Green Beans, Pasta and Marinara Sauce, Salad Bar, Lemon Cream Cake
