Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Session 2 Arrivals Day!
The Sun is shining and the sky is blue today in the Swiss mountain side!
Today we welcomed campers from all over the world for this Village Camps Summer Session 2. Campers arrived to the Swiss Alpine Center throughout the day and got introduced to their colour group leader, counsellors and fellow campers for the session. Friends were made and games were played!
In the morning our team prepared the building for all the arrivals, with fun games played outside like basketball, ping pong, giant connect four, hula hoops and more. Inside the building there was an arts and crafts corner for name tag making, the games room of foosball and table tennis, and the tuck shop was open for snacks and games.
In the evening just before dinner, all camp meeting for session 2 began, complete with a counsellor dance and staff introudctions. After dinner colour groups split off for a building tour and to further get to know each other more with fun games.
