Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Monday, still a FUNDAY!
Lets goooooo! Another epic week of camp has started!
The Yellow Adventure Campers headed off to the infamous Pic Chaussy to take on the epic hike to the top where they played with snow, swam in lakes and enjoyed a hamburgers and smores by the fire. Mean while at Camp, the Greens started the morning making tie dye shirts and stretching their bodies and relaxing with a yoga session in the dance hall. The Red Adventure Campers went mountain biking and Blues splashed down the white water rapids! Following the Eauro Cup final last night, Sports camp played Football in the full size pitch. The Dance and Language students were all busy working on projects of their own to show at the upcoming Friday Finale.
In the afternoon, the Greenies rocked at climbing, challenging themselves to climb to the top of the rock quarry. The Reds mixed things up by having their choice of Tennis, Bouldering, Zumba, Yoga, Swimming and Mini Golf as a way to spend their afternoon, and the Yellows had The Amazing Race in The Suchet Forest before taking an easy hike to a campfire overlooking the mountains to play games and make smores in the evening. Meanwhile Football Fever had taken over the Reds and Blues as they split into teams to compete against each other to see who would be the champions of this years "VC Leysin World Cup".
Sadly the evening campfire was canceled due to the ever changing Mountain weather. The campers did however get to go on a forest walk to experience true Swiss climate. They got to jump into some rain puddles before arriving back to camp. Once back everyone got a warm shower and changed into PJ`s, to have a comfy laid-back evening. Nothing better than being comfy inside after being rained on outside.
- Breakfast: Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Cereals, Yogurt, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Juices
- Lunch: Fish Fingers, Wedges, Spagetti Bolognes, Pasta and Marinara Sauce, Salad Bar, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Salad
- Dinner: Hash Browns, Chicken and Mushroom Cream Sauce, Sauted Veggies, Pasta and Marinara Sauce, Salad Bar, Cake
