Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
A Terrific Tuesday!
The sun is shining down on Leysin and this morning our campers headed off in all directions to enjoy the beautiful weather. While the Blues were busy enjoying a scavenger Hunt and the Greens were playing Tennis the Red Adventure group were packing their bags and preparing for their challenging day hike, they would spend the day hiking some gorgeous swiss backcountry to reach the Summit of Pic Chaussy at an incredible 2,351m of elevation.
In the afternoon, the Yellows played various fun team games in the Mont Blanc field, which took an excitingly wet turn when water balloons were introduced to the game Battleships! All the campers got soaked and splashed by water and headed back to camp for an ice cream treat. The Reds and the Blues got stuck into various sport activities with the reds enjoying some Street Hockey & Archery while the Blues tackled a local mini golf course. Back at camp the Greens were getting their thinking hats on as they joined our Robotics teacher Vlad to create some really crazy contraptions.
In the evening, the Reds popped on their hiking shoes and took a stroll to some stunning lookout spots where they enjoyed a relaxing night by the Camp Fire and after some fun and games enjoyed some delicious Banana Boats and roasted Marshmallows. Elsewhere the Blues were creating cool stencils and making some awesome street art while the Greens and Yellows strapped on their skates and gracefully glided their way to the end of another awesome day.
