Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
World Cup Wednesday!
This morning our Blues strapped on their harnesses and reached new heights as they joined our Climbing Specialist Louanne while the Yellows took themselves into the forest and played some great team based games and later tested their accuracy at the Archery range! The Reds visited the Dell and tried their hand at some bush-craft as they spent their morning constructing miniature rafts to survive the raging rapids.
After lunch everyone got together and then split off into their chosen countries in preparation for tomorrow's international night celebrations, to get our campers into the spirit our colour groups headed into the forest for a friendly but competitive game of capture the flag. Back at camp some groups were in the kitchen starting to put together traditional dishes from their home countries while elsewhere teams prepared skits and entertaining short performances to show to the whole camp.
After Dinner the Yellows, Reds and Blues split off into their countries and showed off their expert football skills in a huge VC Leysin World Cup tournament! The teams all had some incredible matches and the competition was close, the real winners of the night were the spectators.
