Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
A magnificant monday In the mountains!
The sun is shining in Leysin and it's time for another fun packed day of activities! The Greens started their day with a little creativity as they joined our wonderful Art Specialist to make some Tie-Dye shirts in the Art room, meanwhile the Yellow and Blue Adventure Campers were filling their water bottles and strapping on their hiking shoes as they set off for their overnight excursions in the Mountains. After a tough day hiking hills both groups would be treated to a delicious BBQ and relaxing evening by the campfire roasting marshmallows with the Yellows settling in to a rustic mountain hut while the Blues pitched their tents for a peaceful night under the stars.
STEM Robotics spent their morning building Robot animals while the French classes became chocolatiers for the day and spent the morning designing, mixing and making their own chocolate bars! The Yellows were also having fun in the hills this afternoon as they were rewarded with delicious freshly made Ice Cream & Cheese after a short but challenging hike to a dairy farm in the mountains above Leysin.
After lunch the Greens delved into the world of international espionage as they went undercover to solve the mystery of the secret friends box heist in an exciting game of "Spy Kids".
As the evening rolled in so did the footballs as the Reds and Blues joined together in "VC Leysins World Cup" the campers split off into teams and competed against each other to see which team would become this summers REAL football world champions! Elsewhere Yellow Campers headed up to our favorite view points to see their day out with a few games and some relaxation by the campfire.

- Lunch: Canaloni, Pasta Barilla, Bolognaise, Huge Salad Selection & Swiss Flag Icecream
- Dinner: Beef Ragu, Pasta, Couscous, salad bar and Cherry topped sponge cake
