Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Ice cream and cheeeeeese!
This morning the Greenies went on a little adventure to an ice cream and cheese making chalet up in the hills, where they got to see how locals make regional products. Sport Camp boarded the bus to the sport center pitches to play football. Language, Media and Tennis Camp also joined their Academies for their morning sessions. The Yellow Adventure took on rock climbing in the Quarry as well as a scavenger hunt through the surrounding areas of Leysin.
The Red Adventure group headed out early this morning to begin their Adventure Hut hike, they spent their day taking on Pic Chaussy with stunning landscape views and scenery, followed by a camp fire and BBQ dinner in the sunshine and a peaceful rest in the mountain hut.
In the afternoon the Blues headed off on a beautiful scenic hike to take in some great views and fresh air, the Reds were "feeling the rhythm" and trying out a little bobsledding, baseball, tennis and squash while the Yellows were making the most of the weather with some beach volleyball.
In the afternoon the Greenies showed off their skills at mini golf and then after dinner joined the Yellows for a very special visit from a local Zookeeper, unfortunately the animals escaped and it was up to our clever Greenies and Yellows to trick the animals back to their keeper!
The Reds finished off the day with a relaxing evening by the campfire, roasting banana boats and marshmallows while the sun set on another beautiful day in the Alps.

- Lunch: Chicken curry, curried lentils, steamed rice, pasta, bolognes, tomato sauce, salad bar, fresh fruit, carrot cake, creme brulee
- Dinner: Beef & chicken skewers, french fries, peas, tofu, pasta, pasta sauce, salad bar and delicious profiteroles for desert!
