Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
This means War, It's time for Capture the Flag!!!
Another beautiful day in Leysin, the mountains are misty this morning as the Greenies returned from their overnight stay at a beautiful mountain hut while back at camp Film Academy started the finishing touches to their movies in preparation for the big unveiling. The Reds and Blues took some time to test their photography and map reading skills with a photo scavenger hunt while the Yellows went to the Suchet to learn all kinds of Wilderness survival skills including shelter building and how to make the perfect campfire for cooking home made chocolate bread!
Later on, all color groups united to for an afternoon in the forest playing an all camp game of 'United Nations'. Campers were split into two UN groups, Arab Nations vs Spain and Russia and went head to head in a competitive game of Capture the Flag. Meanwhile, back in Camp, everyone is preparing for the International Night with USA/Canada, Italy, Arab Nations and NZ/Australia preparing traditional meals, creating educational skits for their country, performing traditional dances and creating handmade accessories for tomorrow's performance!
After running around the woods the Blues kicked back and relaxed with a Movie and Popcorn, The Reds headed out to see if they could solve the Camps spooky murder mystery and the Greens and Yellows got to meet some of the local wildlife, but OH NO, the animals have escaped! It's up to them to trick these crazy critters back into their pen!
