Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's Arrivals Day!
Arrivals day is here in Village Camps Leysin! The sun is shining and the atmosphere is filled with enthusiasm and excitement. Early arrivals started yesterday with just 2 campers joining the Village camps family, but today 173 more arrived! Everyone was excited to meet their counsellors, find out their colour groups and of course play lots of fun games! Since this Morning campers from all over the globe arrived: by plane, by bus , by car or by train! Counsellors have been receiving the campers with a warm smile and helping them to settle in and feel comfortable!
Once settled in their rooms campers had a heap of arrival day activities they could enjoy like arts and crafts, creating their custom name tags, climbing, team games, joggling, basketball, ping-pong, plate spinning and much much more! There was a buffet served all day with hot food, a huge salad bar and an incredible selection of cakes.
After a full day playing in the sun the campers had a delicious dinner and some great evening activities to get to know each other.
A fantastic day was had by all and everyone here is very excited for the next 2 weeks!
- Breakfast: Cereals, yogurt, bread, butter and jam
- Lunch: Buffet with a great selection of delicacies (salad, hot meals and sweet buffet)
- Dinner: chicken cordon bleu, french fries, salad, ice cream.
