Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Its Swiss National Day!
Its a gorgeous day in Leysin and the sun is beaming for Swiss Day. In camp everyone headed of to their first activity which for adventure camp was fitness and archery. The reds and blues from the adventure camp came back from their overnight hike. The greens prepared for their slumber party tonight and went to the park. Some of the language camp went to town for a village hunt and film and dance camp were continuing their projects.
After lunch everyone signed up to pick either France and Switzerland, Arab Nations, Great Britain, America and Canada, Italy, Spain and Russia to represent in International Night next week, were they will do a performance about the country and also cook their traditional food. Then everyone went to their chosen activity. The greens went on a hike to the ice cream and cheese factory. The yellows went ice skating and then played Kunkin. The reds had their Extreme Games and the blues had the choice of fitness, archery, climbing, dance and yoga.
Tonight the greens are having their slumber party and playing games. The yellows are playing football and street hockey and basketball. The reds are playing dodgeball and finally the blues are doing a street night at camp involving basketball, dance and graffiti art.
