It's a Beautiful Day to Arrive at Camp

Splendid day here in Leysin for Arrivals Day. The stayovers headed down to the Old Sports grounds to play beach volleyball and football this morning. Meanwhile the new campers have started to arrive. A lot is going on at camp today since everybody needs to check in and get settled into their rooms and colour groups. The campers also need to make their own name tag.

After lunch we also have a few climbing sessions going on and the option to play basketball, foosball or table tennis at camp as well. Then before dinner everyone got into their colour groups to play some get to know each other games.

After dinner each group took turns to have a tour of the town and of camp. Then the greenies and yellows played Get to Know Your Counsellor and Bank, River, Bridge. The Reds and Blues are playing Get to Know Your Counsellor as well. After a long and tiring day its straight to bed for everyone so that they are all fresh and ready for their first exciting day tomorrow.
