Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Festival Friday!!
Its awesome weather today, perfect for Festival Friday. First this morning everyone went to their chosen activities, including archery, tennis, and street hockey and the yellows had the option of nature games as well. Then before lunch everyone gathered in their counselors groups and dressed in their elements which were either fire, water, air or earth and then made their way to Prafandaz. There was a BBQ provided and everyone got something to eat, then it was time for the elements to compete. They played various games against each other including relay race and tug-of-war. They got points for the winning element. Then it was time to venture back down to camp to get ready for the carnival.
After dinner the camp was transformed for the carnival and there were different games to take part in and earn tokens which then were contributed to their elements. Some of the games were, Guess that Song, Oily Pig, Slacklining, Fortune Teller, Candy Pong, Pin the tail on the Donkey and Copy-Cat Basketball.
- Breakfast: Cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice
- Lunch: BBQ, burgers, sausages, salad
- Dinner: Fish, Spinach, boiled potatoes
