Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Session 3 Activites Begin!
This was the first full day of activities, everyone is finding their feet, making new friends and having a great time.
This morning was dedicated to settling people into their chosen camps, Adventure camp had a morning of team building games, the Dance campers met with Kristyn, the Language campers were introduced to their teachers and had their first lessons and the Film Academy campers met with Mac and Max. The Tennis campers waited until the afternoon then headed down to the courts with Katya to meet with Steve Loft who runs the Californian Tennis Academy. The Greenies had a fast-paced scavenger hunt around the building and village design to get them used to their new surroundings.
After the first midday all camp meeting the afternoon activities could start. The Yellows had an afternoon of indoor climbing and a tour around the beautiful village of Leysin. The Reds and Blues spent their afternoon playing various team-building games designed to get everyone involved, learn each others names and make new friends. While the Greenies were down at the sports centre playing in the gym and in the forest.
There were three evening activities, Dodgeball for the Blue campers, Murder Mystery for the Reds and Terminator for the Yellows and Greens. Terminator is a great game loved by staff and returning campers, the kids have to navigate through the building and avoid all the killer robots.
- Breakfast: Cereal, Yogurt, Fruit, Bread, Cheese, Juice
- Lunch: Rice, Spring Rolls, Pasta, Salad, Fruit
- Dinner: Pasta, Gratin, Veal, Soup, Carrots, Fruit
