Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
The Session Begins with a Bang!
Today all of the programs at Village Camps, Leysin started off in a high gear.
The language teachers have evaluated the results of their "Placement Activities" and set up classes with students divided according to ability. The tennis campers left for the New Sporting Centre to meet with Steve Loft, the director of the California Tennis Academy. The dance campers met with our new dance specialist Kristyn and got down to business straight away. The sport/adventure campers had a morning of team building, playing games and completing group challenges. The Film Academy met with Mac to start their journey into the exciting world of movie making.
Once a well deserved meal had been enjoyed by all, the activities started again. The Yellows rotated between indoor climbing, shopping and playing ice breaker games with their counsellors and new friends. The Reds and Blues had a fun filled afternoon of activities designed to make the groups closer and to make new friends.
The evening activities began with Terminator for the Yellow campers; a challenging game where the campers get to know one an other better by avoiding them and their special powers throughout the building. The Blues and Reds travelled down to the Gym to play dodgeball against each other and their counsellors.
