Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
A Wet And Wild Day For The Yellows
The sun keeps on shining in Leysin and the campers keep on having fun. The hot sunny weather was perfect for all the great activities we had planned.
The morning started as usual with the tennis campers setting off early to get down to the courts on time. The language lessons are in full swing and the dance campers have been fine-tuning their steps. The sports campers had a morning of tennis, squash and swimming. The Red and Blue adventure campers packed up their tents then hiked backed to the hotel from the camp ground, and the adventure Yellows learnt how to survive in the wild. The little Greenies had a go at archery and there appeared to be some budding Robin Hoods!
The afternoon had even more fun to offer our campers. The Yellows had great fun playing lots of different wet and wild games around the building. The Reds and Blues had a choice of many activities including street hockey, swimming, mini-golf, outdoor living skills and archery.
In the evening the Greens and Yellows had a small shopping trip through Leysin then in the beautiful evening sun hiked up to their cook out... a BBQ and a chance to toast marshmallows on the fire. The Reds headed down to the forest to play a large game of Murder Mystery and the Blues had an evening of football (soccer) and volleyball.
