York Summer Camp Update: Adventures, Skills, and International Night!
Today was another incredible day at camp, filled with exploration, learning, and creativity. Our campers dove into their morning activities with enthusiasm, each group embarking on a unique journey. The adventure group set off on an exhilarating hike, exploring the beauty of nature and discovering various plants and wildlife. Football enthusiasts focused on honing their skills with drills and practice matches, while the language learners continued to improve their English through engaging lessons. Meanwhile, the horse riding group spent the morning preparing for tomorrow's big show, practicing routines and bonding with their horses. The afternoon was abuzz with excitement as campers prepared for International Night. Each team created their own fictional country, complete with a local dish, anthem, dance, and more. The creativity and collaboration were truly impressive as campers designed flags, cooked up unique dishes, and rehearsed their performances. The day culminated in a spectacular International Night at the grand theatre, where campers proudly took to the stage. The performances were filled with vibrant anthems, energetic dances, and mouth-watering dishes, earning applause and cheers from the audience. As the evening came to a close, campers shared their experiences and highlights, reflecting on a day that showcased their enthusiasm, talent, and teamwork. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings, especially with the highly anticipated horse riding show on the horizon!
