Day trip to York!
The day began next to the iconic museum in York, where the kids were buzzing with excitement. They learnt about the city's rich history and vibrant culture. After soaking up all the knowledge, it was time for a well-deserved lunch break. With their bellies full, the kids set off on a leisurely stroll around the historic city walls of York. The panoramic views of the city were breathtaking, and the children couldn't resist snapping photos of the picturesque scenery. Along the way, they stumbled upon mysterious caves nestled within the walls, sparking their curiosity and sense of adventure. The next stop on their adventure was the bustling market in York. The kids were captivated by the vibrant stalls selling everything from local produce to handmade crafts. They sampled delicious treats, interacted with friendly vendors, and even picked up some unique souvenirs to remember their day by. No trip to York is complete without a visit to the enchanting Shambles. The kids marveled at the narrow, cobblestone streets lined with quirky shops and charming cafes. They eagerly explored every nook and cranny, soaking in the magical atmosphere of this historic area. As the day drew to a close, the kids indulged in a bit of shopping, picking out their favourite gifts to take home with them. Once back at camp, the children dressed in their best outfits and danced the night away at our disco. What a fun and exciting day!
