Summer Camp England
Another beautiful day in York!
Wow! What a day. We started the morning fresh with a delicious cinnamon swirl treat and split into our groups. The horse riders started to jump today and they were so happy with their accomplishment! The football campers took part in a running race, followed by shotgun and many more football games to refine their skills. These players will be the next Ronaldo for sure! The English campers created their very own script for secret friends! Our counsellors dressed up as pirates and performed the scirpt in front of the whole camp, how incredible! The adventure campers headed out to Ripley for kayaking and learnt how to filter water to help them if they are ever in a survival situation when they can't find clean water! After lunch, the campers split into their colour groups. The reds took part in the 'Big Red' activity where each team took part in a series of challenges! The yellows put their brains to the test with a Scavenger hunt and the blues had a competitive game of tennis. We had an Italian night for dinner, with delicious homemade lasagne, followed by more activities! Campers headed to Muggles for a chilled games and movie night and some campers played dodgeball with some unusual characters. What a day! The kids are having so much fun here and we can't wait to show them what we have in store for them tomorrow!
