Summer Camp England

31st July 2019

International Night Prep!

It's already the fourth day of camp and the adventure continues! Golf and horse riding campers were the first to breakfast and left to their respective sites, while football and basketball played and trained all morning. Adventure went rafting, English continued with their classes on-site and the amazing works of our Creative Arts campers are already being displayed in the reception hall :)

After lunch, campers could choose between several crafty activities, like face paint or art and design. At our 3PM meeting, our Secret Friends box was full of beautiful messages for both counsellors and campers. In session D, campers enjoyed dance, music, gaelic football... And an exclusive activity, Pterry Pfun! In which some of our campers became secret agents on a mission ;)

The evening programme began at the theatre, were campers were able to choose a country or nation to join for international night. After been sent to different locations, the teams had to decide a national dish they will be cooking next Tuesday for the whole camp, and some volunteers took responsibility for recreating their nation's flag. The rest of each team's members began preparing a 3 minute performance in which they will show some of their countries' traditions, like their national music, dance, sport... everything has a place in international night!
