Summer Camp England
Manchester, York and Talent Night!
After an amazing Big Night celebration, our campers enjoyed a weekend full of excursions and activities. Both Saturday and Sunday kicked off with a late wake-up and an energetic breakfast, but each day had it's particularities.
On Saturday, Yellows, Reds and Blues got on a coach straight after breakfast and went to the Manchester Trafford Center for a day of shopping, cinema and yummy food! The Yellows watched The Lion King and the Reds and Blues went for the latest Spierman movie. After dinner, it was time to return to the camp and get some rest.
Sunday, on the other hand, began with a chilled morning getting ready for Talent Night! After lunch, the whole camp was taken to the city of York, where Yellows visited the Jorvik Viking Centre and Reds and Blues went on different treasure hunts. Everyone was allowed some time for eating and shopping and, after dinner at camp, it was time for Talent Night!
Talent Night is the perfect opportunity for campers and counsellors to work together and display their group or individual talents. Among our main acts, we had singing, dancing, piano, theater... One of our campers even shared her own music, what a treat for everyone :)
Tomorrow a new day begins, we can't wait to share with you everything we have prepared for the second week of camp!
