Excursion Weekend and Talent Night
After a fantastic Big Night celebration, campers enjoyed a weekend full of excursions and activities. Of course, both days starting off with a late wake-up and an energetic breakfast! Pancakes included on Sunday ;)
On Saturday, all our color groups got on a coach and were taken to the Manchester Trafford Center, where they enjoyed a full day of shopping, movies and dinner of their choice. The Yellows watched The Secret Life of Pets 2; the Reds went for Aladdin and the Blues chose the latest Spiderman movie.
Sunday, on the other hand, began with a chilled morning getting ready for Talent Night! After lunch, the whole camp was taken to the city of York, where Yellows visited the Jorvik Viking Centre and Reds and Blues went on different treasure hunts. Everyone was allowed some time for eating and shopping and, after dinner at camp, it was time for Talent Night!
Out hosts from the year 3000 came back from the future to search for the most talented campers and save a dystopic world without talent. And they found them indeed; we had some fantastic dance performances, singing, comedy, piano, guitar... and even a bird sound maker!
