Summer Camp England
A day to be remembered !
It is nearly the end of the camp it is hard to believe it ! Time flew at VC York !
Today nearly all nine of our programs are going off site for their programme excursions.
English Program went to visit the dungeons of York, attending an historical show in each room they cross. During this time, our Creative Arts program got to discover an Art Gallery at York and learn more about different artistic techniques.
The Football program went to the home ground of English football team Manchester City, taking a tour in the Football Museum. The Basketball program went also offsite to Leeds Armouries and to a sport complex where they played games.
All the Activity and Adventure campers and counsellors also left for their overnight camping venture. They had a full day of outdoor activities in Ripley Castle or in the Rocks practising arch, playing body zorbing or learning how to make a bonfire! After a BBQ and a night spent in tents, we are expecting to welcome new fully adventurers back to the Village Camps campus on Thursday morning.
Only the Performing Arts campers stayed onsite to rehearsed their big show on Friday !
It was an exciting learning day for all our campers. But it is not over yet! The Basketball and Football matches are planned on Thursday and on Friday while we cannot wait to see the Performing Arts show on Friday!
