Summer Camp England

31st July 2011

York Excursion

A warm weather pattern has permeated England and the campers were fortunate to experience a great day of outdoor shopping in historic York. The campers were given a tour of the city, the Abbey ruins, the infamous York Minster, and one of the oldest shopping roads in England, the Shambles. Some campers satisfied their sweet indulgences by watching the candy man make some fudge and they got to sample the products, while other campers satisfied their shopping urges and paid tribute to buying, buying and buying!
The evening ended with the talent show, a showcase of the great things our campers can do. To top it off, some counsellors decided to show their talents and wow the audience.
